I am reading a lot of urban fantasy these last few years and I have come to some conclusions:  The International Union of Urban Fantasy Writers (IUUFW) needs to get together and set standard for the various creatures that inhabit their world. Ilona Andrews’ vampires aren’t anything like Patrica Brigg’s Vampires.  Patrica Brigg’s werewolves are similar to, but not identical to, Kelley Armstrong’s werewolves, and so on.  It gets hard to keep track of who has the power to do what.  Some coordination is a necessity.
